Allowlist (whitelist)
Also called Whitelist
A list of wallet addresses approved to hold or receive a permissioned token. Transfers to addresses not on the list fail.
Issuers add a wallet to the allowlist after its owner passes KYC and eligibility checks. Some tokens use onchain identity credentials instead of a plain list.
