A US investor category above accredited investor: generally individuals with at least $5 million in investments, or institutions with at least $25 million.
Funds that rely on the Investment Company Act’s section 3(c)(7) exemption can only sell to qualified purchasers. BlackRock’s BUIDL is one example.
